Periodontal treatments include gum problems and diseases (bleeding gums, redness, swelling and recession of the gums) as well as problems of the jawbones (bone recession, loosening and loss of teeth).
Halitosis should also be considered as a possible sign of a periodontitis. By an adapted therapy and a general improvement of oral hygiene, those symptoms can be successfully treated.
